Stage program at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart- 1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the legal relationship between Theaterhaus Stuttgart e.V. (“Theaterhaus”) and its customers.
The General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the contract that is concluded through the purchase of admission tickets. With the purchase of an admission ticket, these terms and conditions are deemed to have been agreed.
These General Terms and Conditions apply to visitor organizations and their members, unless otherwise agreed.
Additional General Terms and Conditions may be included for event cooperations. Where applicable, this will be indicated accordingly.
For performances by other organizers, these terms and conditions only apply to the services of the Theaterhaus.
- 2. Programme & starting times
The valid program with starting times is announced in the official publications issued by the Theaterhaus, such as the monthly magazine and on the website www.theaterhaus.com & www.coloursdancefestival.com
The Theaterhaus reserves the right to make changes to the program and cast, even at short notice. The Theaterhaus accepts no liability for information in other publications.
- 3. Admission prices & discounts
The current ticket prices can be found in the Theaterhaus publications and will be announced at the box office. Prices are subject to change.
When purchasing via other sales channels such as advance booking offices or the Reservix ticket system, prices may vary due to additional costs and fees.
Discounts are granted to eligible groups of people on presentation of appropriate proof. Pupils, students, trainees, people with disabilities and the unemployed are entitled to a discount. The applicable discounts for events can be found in the publications and on the Theaterhaus website or can be requested at the box office. The Theaterhaus reserves the right not to grant discounts for certain events.
Discounts can no longer be considered after the booking process has been completed.
Reduced tickets are only valid in conjunction with proof of purchase. This proof of discount must be shown together with the ticket on admission. If it is not shown, admission cannot be granted and the difference to the full admission price must be paid.
A combination of different discount entitlements is not permitted.
- 4. Ticket purchase / ticket return / ticket loss
Tickets can be purchased at the Theaterhaus box office on site, by telephone, by email or online via Reservix. The Theaterhaus box office is generally open Monday to Friday between 10 am and 9 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 1 pm and 9 pm.
The following conditions only apply to tickets purchased directly from the Theaterhaus box office or by post. When purchasing tickets online via the Reservix booking portal at (https://theaterhaus.reservix.de/) and via advance booking offices, only their general terms and conditions apply. The Theaterhaus is not liable for incorrect information or sales at other advance booking offices.
Reservations made in advance are valid for a maximum of seven days; reservations for the box office must be collected from the Theaterhaus box office no later than 30 minutes before the start of the performance. After this time, the tickets will be put back on sale.
Tickets purchased on site at the Theaterhaus or ordered by telephone via the ticket telephone can be exchanged or returned up to one week before the event for a processing fee of €2 per ticket.
A processing fee of €3.50 per transaction will be charged for tickets sent by the Theaterhaus.
Admission tickets remain the property of the Theaterhaus until full payment has been made. If a payment is charged back, the visitor is obliged to return the ticket immediately and to reimburse the costs incurred by the chargeback.
The resale of tickets for commercial purposes is not permitted without the prior consent of the Theaterhaus. The Theaterhaus reserves the right to take legal action in the event of non-compliance and may exclude the person responsible from purchasing tickets in the future.
Vouchers with a freely selectable amount can be purchased at the Theaterhaus box office or online and can be redeemed for any event. They are valid for three years, starting at the end of the year of purchase. Cash payment of the equivalent value of a voucher is not possible.

- 5. Admission
The Theaterhaus foyer opens Monday to Friday from 10 a.m., on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 1 p.m., or at least one hour before the start of the event.
As a rule, admission begins 5 to 20 minutes before the start of the event; in individual cases, the Theaterhaus reserves the right to make different arrangements.
There is no entitlement to admission after the start of the performance. If admission is not granted due to a delay, the person concerned is not entitled to a refund of the ticket price.
- 6. Checkroom and lost property
Coats, umbrellas, large bags and rucksacks or similar bulky items may not be taken into the auditoriums (evacuation) and must be left at the checkroom or locked in the lockers. The storage of animals is generally prohibited.
The checkroom is open depending on the season. The Theaterhaus reserves the right to charge a checkroom fee.
A checkroom token is issued when checkroom items are handed in. Upon presentation of the checkroom ticket, the stored items will be handed over without checking the authorization. Items may only be handed over without a checkroom ticket if it can be credibly demonstrated that the visitor is the authorized recipient.
The loss of or damage to checkroom items and the loss of a checkroom ticket must be reported to the checkroom staff immediately. If a checkroom ticket is lost, the visitor is obliged to reimburse the replacement costs / a monetary compensation of € 20.
The Theaterhaus is only liable for loss of or damage to stored items if the checkroom staff have intentionally or grossly negligently breached their duty of safekeeping. Liability is limited to the current value of all items handed in on a checkroom ticket or to a maximum of €250.
ID cards and documents of all kinds, credit cards, cash, keys and valuables such as jewelry, electronic devices, etc. are excluded from liability, especially if these items are in coat pockets or containers. Visitors store such items at their own risk.
The checkroom closes 30 minutes after the end of the last event. After the checkroom closes, the Theaterhaus accepts no liability for unclaimed items.
Items of any kind that are found in the Theaterhaus (lost property) must be handed in to the house or checkroom staff. The items will be kept by the Theaterhaus for a period of two months.
- 7. Liability
Visiting the Theaterhaus, including the associated premises, is at your own risk.
The Theaterhaus accepts no liability for damages of any kind, unless the Theaterhaus, its representatives or its vicarious agents have acted with intent or gross negligence.
- 8. House rules and regulations
The Theaterhaus, its employees or commissioned third parties as vicarious agents exercise domiciliary rights in the Theaterhaus. They are entitled to issue expulsions and bans or to take other appropriate measures within the scope of this domiciliary right. The instructions of the theater staff must be followed.
Cell phones and other technical devices with acoustic signals must be switched off during the performance.
Food and drink may not be taken into the auditorium and consumed there.
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Theaterhaus. The smoking ban includes so-called e-cigarettes.
The distribution, offering, display or sale of goods, media or services within the area of responsibility of the Theaterhaus is only permitted with prior express permission.
In addition, the house rules of the Theaterhaus apply in their currently valid version.
- 9. Image and sound recordings
Image and sound recordings of events are prohibited to visitors at the venue for copyright reasons.
If image and/or sound recordings are made during an event by persons authorized to do so by the Theaterhaus, visitors agree by participating in the event that they may be recorded in image and/or sound and that the recordings may be broadcast or published without entitlement to remuneration.
- 10. Privacy policy

- 11. Dispute resolution procedure
The Theaterhaus is neither obliged nor generally willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
- 12. Coming into effect
These General Terms and Conditions come into force with immediate effect.
- 13. Severability clause
Should a provision of these general terms and conditions be invalid, this shall not affect the legal validity of the remaining terms and conditions.
